Orange Rooms 10th Birthday...

The fantastic Orange Rooms in Southampton turned 10 recently and I took my trusty camera along to snap a few fashionistas, I found instead that it was fashionistos I was snapping. I have to say, the boys in attendance really put the girls to shame! Here's a few...

Yes, that is an Archangel t-shirt!

The Archangel Emporium

I am lucky enough to have met a lot of very talented creative people, and when you team being talented and creative with a serious dose of hard work things like this happen... The Archangel Emporium.
Gabriel Maselino owns this store in East London selling t-shirts, all of his own label, all of his own designs. I recently purchased one for a friend of mine and there is a hell of a lot of jealousy around that t-shirt right now, so if you are a London dweller, or indeed a London visitor, go and have a look (and a spend)...

London Fashion Week Sunday

Just a few snaps of what we wore on the cobbles at Somerset House, reviews of the shows and more street style to follow!
P.s. The heels and cobbles combo really does sort the men from the boys (so to speak) in the heel wearing stakes, many a fashionista were whipping the ballet pumps out of the bag and onto the feet towards the latter part of the day.

Wretch 32 Traktor (part 1)

Here's the first installment of the behind the scenes shots I took on the 'Traktor' shoot, the outfits for the dancers had been very carefully considered so we didn't have endless clothing options on the day but there were plenty of accessories for playing with and adding extra adornment.

Nice bit of Dior for the boys!

Waiting for spring

It has definitely reached a point in the year where I have run out of patience with winter, it has had it's time and is just starting to get on my wick now. I suspect I am not alone. I'm truly ready and prepared for summer florals, citrus bright colour blocking and the hippy-chic that I inevitably end up living in each year in the warmer months. Something that has caught my eye and I have found irresistible, even in chilly February, is this vintage Laura Ashley number. I must admit though, it is partly because I am on a mission at the moment to source vintage fabrics in order to make mix and match bedding for my daughter in every Laura Ashley floral I can find and if I turned it into a cheeky playsuit I could get at least a pillowcase out of the skirt.....

Little job from last year

In November last year I worked on the Wretch 32 music video for 'Traktor'. I was working with the fantastic stylist Georgia Broaders and it was quite a day, it's shot in a car park that is 13 stories underground near Barbican in London, which got quite claustrophobic when you started to dwell on how far away the surface was! I was quite impressed with how much the crew were allowed to do with the space as well, painting the walls and graffiti etc. Everyone there on the day was brilliant (including the owl!) and I'm really pleased it's done so well. I've got tons of behind-the-scenes shots to share with you that I will post shortly.
