Uberluvly...

I spent this saturday with the wonderful Sarah-Leigh of Sarah-Leigh's style files and one of our activities of the day was a very cultured little jaunt out to an art show at Southampton's newly refurbished Grand Cafe. The show featured 120 pieces by the very hard working Lee Murray of Uber studios, and it was an exhibit that started to feel a bit like a shopping trip, for example... 'ooh i want that one in my living room' or 'wouldn't whas-is-name like that one for christmas' and so it went on. There were plenty of girly vintage inspired pieces, iconic musicians for the boys and the slightly evil Banksy-esque Mickey Mouses (or is that Mickey Mice?) that really caught my eye, my favourite however had to be the lip one that reminds me of an eighties album cover (below)...

London Fashion Week Sunday

Just a few snaps of what we wore on the cobbles at Somerset House, reviews of the shows and more street style to follow!
P.s. The heels and cobbles combo really does sort the men from the boys (so to speak) in the heel wearing stakes, many a fashionista were whipping the ballet pumps out of the bag and onto the feet towards the latter part of the day.

Oh the trinkets!

I am currently head over heels in love with having too much jewellry on. I find myself slowly collecting thin gold chains of every possible length to wear all at once so that they glint and shimmer with interesting pendants and details. I've managed to discover a lot of little treats at trusty Topshop (especially the GoGo Phillips range in the Oxford Circus store), but the best finds have been vintage or from my own glamourous mother's jewellry collection, the bits I watched her wear and loved as a child are now adorning me daily in different clashing combinations. Here's a few examples.....
