Top Boy....

We have a real label du jour here, it has been creeping through the cool kids and the fash pack for a while, made a hell of an impact in the celebrity circle and now I don't meet a person who doesn't want just one piece in their wardrobe. I for one am not ashamed to admit it, my name is Sophie and I love BOY London. Now, I tend to love a lot of things that do the rounds, but I have loved BOY with a romantic nostalgia for as long as I can remember (BOY and Katherine Hamnett tshirts have a special place in my heart, always have) but I began to have a bit of a renaissance with it about 18 months ago and the passion in my affair with the BOY is not waning. Maybe it's just one of those things, no matter who else I see wearing it, no matter how many lazy sundays are spent swaddled in BOY sweatshirt comfiness, we will remain happy together, me and the BOY.
Happily ever after.

Then and now...

Notrelle 'Body' Music Video

Another shoot, another long day in a freezing warehouse, no matter though, nothing seems to squash my joy of styling music videos. This is the finished article of the Notrelle video (you may remember the sneaky behind the scenes preview). Notrelle wears Addict shirt and Jacket, Rayban sunglasses and a Topman burgundy trench. I dressed our lovely model in vintage dresses and Freedom at Topshop jewellery.

Vogue's Fashion Night Out...

We all love the fashion, and it's only fair that we take it out on the town every now and then to show it a good time. The event that originated in New York in 2009 has grown into a global party with 16 countries participating over 8 days, and last night was little old London's turn. I think we've shown this year that we can have a bit if a 'do' quite well (what with the Jubilee, Olypics, Paralympics hatrick we've had this summer) and the Fashion industry was celebrated in style too, obviously.

Edie Campbell and Pixie Geldof at Mulberry

With shoppers at Christian Louboutin enjoying tarot card and palm readings, the photobooth at Liberty, blow dry's at Hershesons, pop corn stand at Daks and the Radley scottie dogs roaming around in their finery, not to mention the dancing in the streets outside Hermes and Burberry, there was certainly a lot to see and do. The ultimate 'be seen at' venue though was undoubtedly, and not suprisingly, the Mulberry party co-hosted by British Vogue Editor Alexandra Sulman. Although I personally am a tad gutted to have missed Delilah performing in the window of the Topshop Oxford Circus store.
